Oaks Road Traffic Stop Nets DUI, Drug Charges

PADUCAH, KY - Three people were arrested Wednesday morning on drug charges after a traffic stop.
The McCracken County Sheriff's Office says deputies pulled over a vehicle at 1:21 a.m. on Oaks Road for an equipment violation.
Deputies said the driver, 19-year-old Alexis A. Haley of Benton was driving under the influence of methamphetamine. During a search of the vehicle, they reportedly found meth and drug paraphernalia.
Deputies said they also found meth and drug paraphernalia on Haley’s passengers, 18-year-old Melanie D. Farmer of Grand Rivers and 19-year-old Branson L. Waldridge of Paducah.
Haley, Farmer, and Waldridge were booked into McCracken County Regional Jail on meth possession and drug paraphernalia charges. Haley was also charged with DUI.
