At 5:00 pm Friday, a new bar/restaurant with a familiar name will be opening in a familiar spot. The Twinkling Star will be opening up in a building that was once also known as The Twinkling Star years ago in Paducah, along the 3100 block of Broadway directly across the street from the old Coke plant building, that's also being revitalized.

The new owners of the place, Brook Webb and her father, Champ Webb, told West Kentucky Star that they are excited to be once again opening up a place with the memorable name.  Brook Webb said the restaurant side of the facility will be serving up excellent bar food, like appetizers, burgers, and some of the best wings in town.

Meanwhile, on Friday evening, the band The Cruisers will perform at the restaurant.

The Webbs have also installed something new to the building, a clear garage door that opens from the inside to the outside seating.  They are also giving the building and grounds some TLC before opening day on Friday.

Brook Webb said they are excited to finally be opening up for Paducah to enjoy.
