The Paducah Sun reports that a grand jury on Friday indicted 23-year-old Dalton Lampley on seven counts of first-degree criminal mischief, two counts of second-degree criminal mischief and 25 counts of first-degree wanton endangerment.
Authorities say at least six people were injured when Lampley caused a series of wrecks in western Kentucky in March. Police say he drove through a median on the interstate and into oncoming traffic. The chase began in McCracken County, and continued until deputies used spike strips in Marshall County to deflate the truck's tires and stop Lampley.
Lampley already had faced charges of first-degree assault, fleeing or evading police and reckless driving. He has pleaded not guilty.
Lampley was also indicted this week by a Marshall County Grand Jury. He faces eleven charges there, include fleeing or evading police, reckless driving, resisting arrest, and multiple counts of wanton endangerment.
