According to the McCracken County Sheriff's Department, the crash happened in the 100 block of Pugh Road.
According to deputies, 45-year-old Chris M. Cole of Paducah was southbound when he lost control of his vehicle as he approached a curve.
The moped struck a driveway and Cole was ejected. Police said Cole sustained an injury to his head and was transported to Baptist Health Paducah for treatment.
Cole was cited for not having an operators-moped license.
