The event will be held in the Mercy Health Borders Community Room located in the Marshall Nemer Medical Office Building. The service will be from 4 – 6 pm. There will be a screening of Life Journeys: Reclaiming Life after Loss; a survivors’ loss panel discussion with a question and answer session and a closing remembrance ceremony.
The event is free and open to the public.
In 1999, Senator Harry Reid introduced a resolution to the United States Congress which led to the creation of National Survivors of Suicide Day. Reed is a survivor of his father’s suicide.
This is the third year Mercy Health has hosted this event.
