A traffic stop Monday night in McCracken County led to multiple drug charges for a Missouri man.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Office says deputies performed a traffic stop on a truck driven by 29-year-old Daniel Ossola of St. Louis. During the traffic stop, deputies say they saw Ossola throw an object out of the passenger side window.

Police said the object contained crushed Oxycodone and Fentanyl pills.  Deputies also found marijuana on the ground outside of the driver side door.

Deputies searched the truck and found four Xanax bars, 22 Fentanyl pills and $1,910 in cash, which is believed to be proceeds of illegal drug sales.

Ossola was arrested and charged with driving on a DUI suspended license-2nd offense, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of controlled substance, prescription controlled substance not in the proper container, tampering with physical evidence, communication device violation, careless driving and trafficking controlled substance.
