A Paducah man was arrested Thursday afternoon after a police pursuit in McCracken County.
The McCracken County Sheriff's Office says deputies responded at around 3:30 p.m. to a home in the 8200 block of Moore Road for a welfare check. When the deputy got to the home, 59-year-old Joe Scott was seen driving away in a vehicle.
Deputies said Scott committed several traffic violations and they attempted to initiate a traffic stop. Scott then fled, with the pursuit eventually leading back to the same home on Moore Road. Scott then fled the vehicle on foot and attempted to enter the home.
Scott was arrested and booked into McCracken County Jail. He's charged with failure to signal, reckless driving, fleeing or evading police, first degree wanton endangerment, DUI and resisting arrest.
