The McCracken County Sheriff's Office said the crash happened at the intersection of US Highway 60 and Metropolis Lake Road. Deputies said 35-year-old Jennifer Jones of La Center was attempting to cross Highway 60 when her vehicle was struck by an eastbound vehicle, driven by Kunjal Patel, who failed to stop at the red light.
Jones and her minor passenger were taken to Baptist Health Paducah for treatment of their injuries.
