Six people are facing charges after a drug investigation in the Farley area

On Thursday, McCracken Sheriff's Department Drug Detectives began an investigation into illegal drug activity allegedly taking place on Husbands Road. While conducting the investigation, detectives stopped 38-year-old Joseph Barley as he was leaving a home. Barley was reportedly found to be in possession of methamphetamine and a pipe.

Deputies then stopped 24-year-old Nathan Moyers as he was leaving the home. Deputies say Moyers had an outstanding felony probation violation warrant, and was also found to be in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

A short time later detectives obtained a search warrant for the home, where 32-year-old Eric Hopper was inside. A search of the home reportedly revealed methamphetamine, scales, syringes, and a handgun. Deputies reportedly found the handgun in Hopper's bedroom, but he is a convicted felon, and unable to legally own a firearm.

While at the home, 22-year-old Samantha Windsor reportedly arrived and a search of her room in the home allegedly revealed more methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

Detectives say that two more individuals, 31-year-old Ty Yaw and 36-year-old Ashley Bratta, also arrived at the property during the search. Yaw and Bratta were both reportedly found to be in possession of methamphetamine, marijuana, scales, bags, and money.

All six were arrested and lodged in the McCracken County Jail. Barley is being charged with speeding, possession of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, and resisting arrest. Moyers is being charged with a probation violation, possession of marijuana, and drug paraphernalia. Hopper is being charged with second offense possession of methamphetamine, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, and drug paraphernalia. Windsor is being charged with possession of methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Yaw and Bratta are being charged with trafficking in methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.
