A Graves County woman was injured and cited to court after a single-vehicle accident Monday morning.

According to the McCracken County Sheriff's Department, 38-year-old Jennifer Harrison of Mayfield was northbound on US 45 south of Lone Oak when she said her view became obstructed by a cloud of smoke, and her vehicle went into a ditch.

Deputies said the cloud of smoke was determined to have come from another vehicle in front of Harrison that was having mechanical problems.

Harrison received minor injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment. Deputies learned that she was driving without a license and there was no insurance for the vehicle. Harrison was cited to court.
