As the 54th Season draws to a close, Market House Theatre announces their Signature Season and Family Series productions for their 55th season which runs from July 2018 - June 2019. 

The 55th Signature Season productions include:
Mamma Mia! - September 6 - 23, 2018
Written by Catherine Johnson.
A mother. A daughter. Three possible dads. And a trip down the aisle you'll never forget!
The story-telling magic of ABBA's timeless songs propels this enchanting tale of love, laughter and friendship, creating an unforgettable show. Non-stop laughs and explosive dance numbers combine to make a smash hit.

Eternity - November 8 - 18, 2018
Written by Michael Cochran, Executive Director of Market House Theatre.
A Brand New Comedy and Winner of the National AACT NEWPLAY FEST 2018 competition.  Abe, sick of sticking to a sensible diet, decides to move a client appointment to later in the day in favor of getting an ice cream sandwich. The only problem is Abe the angel of death and his "appointments" are to greet the newly deceased and take them to the next stop. Things quickly spiral out of control when Abe's repeated attempts to "bump off" his delayed appointment fails and the real threat of a new "unauthorized life" will occur unless Abe gets everything back on track.  Meanwhile Abe keeps collecting additional "clients" as he makes a desperate plan to set things right. Abe and a collection of the living and the dead all end up in a Vegas Wedding Chapel where a surprise visit from the Boss helps Abe rediscover what the real meaning of life, death, and relationships are all about.

Ramona Quimby - October 18 - 21, 2018

Dramatized by Len Jenkin
Unpredictable. Exasperating. Boisterous and independent. That's Ramona Quimby for you. Always aggravating her older sister, Beezus, constantly getting into trouble and sometimes "making a big, noisy fuss" when things don't go her way. Ramona's tumultuous passage through third grade and through her family relationships. Along with the discovery that life is not always fair, eventually Ramona and Beezus come to realize that sisters may not always agree, but they can be good to have around.

Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, JR. - December 6 - 16, 2018
The Award-winning animated film and stage play comes to life in this romantic and beloved take on the classic fairytale.
Based on the original Broadway production that ran for over thirteen years and was nominated for nine Tony Awards, and the Academy Award-winning motion picture, Disney’s Beauty and the Beast JR. is a fantastic adaptation of the story of transformation and tolerance. Disney’s Beauty and the Beast JR. features some of the most popular songs ever written by Alan Menken and the late Howard Ashman, along with new songs by Mr. Menken and Tim Rice. 
The classic story tells of Belle, a young woman in a provincial town, and the Beast, who is really a young prince trapped under the spell of an enchantress. If the Beast can learn to love and be loved, the curse will end and he will be transformed to his former self. But time is running out. If the Beast does not learn his lesson soon, he and his household will be doomed for all eternity.

Junie B. Jones The Musical JR. - Coming March 7 - 17, 2019
Laugh yourself silly with Junie B. Jones in this hilarious Broadway Junior adaptation of Barbara Park's beloved series.
From Marcy Heisler and Zina Goldrich, the creators who brought you Dear Edwina and Dear Edwina JR., comes Junie B. Jones The Musical JR. – a delightful adaptation of four of Barbara Park's best-selling books, brought to life in a delightful adaptation created specifically for Broadway Junior performers. 
Join Junie B. on her first day of first grade, where many changes are in store: Junie's best friend Lucille has found new best friends - and Junie B. makes friends with Herb, the new kid at school. While in Mr. Scary's class Junie has trouble reading the blackboard - and she may need glasses. Add in a friendly cafeteria lady, an intense kickball tournament and a "Top-Secret Personal Beeswax Journal," and first grade has never been more exciting.
