Man in US Illegally Charged with Rape of Minor

A man is facing multiple counts of rape in McCracken County.

According to the McCracken County Sheriff's Office, on Feb. 10, deputies began investigating a report of sexual assault. Deputies say a 15-year-old girl was sexually assaulted on three different occasions between March and May of 2016 by Andres Villarrealmercado.

According to deputies, Villarrealmercado is in the United States illegally. 

Villarrealmercado was arrested Friday without incident and charged with three counts of first-degree rape. He was lodged in the McCracken County Jail on a $100,000 bond.
