Man Wanted for Theft Turns Himself In

The McCracken County Sheriff’s Department says a suspect wanted in recent thefts from area vehicles has turned himself in.

Sheriff's Detectives say their investigation began on May 15 after getting multiple reports of thefts in the Reidland area. A vehicle was identified from surveillance videos provided by area residents, and two juveniles, along with 20-year-old Jeon Zhyrei Quarles of Paducah, were named as suspects. 

The two juveniles have been charged with theft by unlawful taking over $500, and Quarles turned himself in to deputies Tuesday. He was arrested on an outstanding warrant, and police say more charges are pending.
