The Paducah Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying a man who they think may have information about a stolen vehicle.

According to police, officers were called at 6:06 pm Thursday to a business on Kentucky Avenue. An employee told police he had arrived at work at 7:45 am and parked behind the building. When he got off work, he discovered his car was missing.

Surveillance video reportedly showed a man around the car about 9:25 am. He was described as white, with a white beard and a pony tail. He is tan, with several tattoos and was wearing a blue and white button-up shirt and blue jeans, a hat and sunglasses.

The vehicle is a maroon 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt with a large dent behind the driver’s side door. The taillights are painted black. The car has Kentucky license 347-PWF.

Police are asking anyone with information about the man’s identity or the location of the missing car to call the Paducah Police Department at 270-444-8550 or Crime Stoppers at 270-443-TELL. Information leading to an arrest or indictment may result in a reward of up to $1,000.
