Man Hospitalized After Kitchen Fire at Home

A Paducah man was taken to the hospital Thursday morning after his home caught fire.

Deputy Chief of Fire Prevention Greg Cherry said firefighters responded at around 7:30 am to a fire at a mobile home on Palmer Street. 

Cherry says the occupant of the trailer was treated for smoke inhalation at a local hospital and later released. He says most of the damage was confined to the kitchen area.
