Man Charged in Assault With BB Gun

A Paducah man was arrested Thursday evening for allegedly assaulting a woman with a BB gun.

On Wednesday, the Paducah Police Department responded to Baptist Health, where a woman told officers that 19-year-old Preston Crain of Paducah had shot her multiple times with a BB gun.

With the help of hospital staff, detectives identified 16 different locations on the woman's body where she sustained injuries from being shot.

Crain was arrested Thursday evening and charged with second-degree assault.

He was lodged in the McCracken County Jail.
