A Mayfield man was arrested Sunday night after crashing his vehicle into a Paducah restaurant.

The Paducah Police Department said the crash happened at around 10 p.m., when 22-year-old Davis Mills was speeding with no headlights on down Hinkleville Road. Witnesses told police Mills' vehicle went around a barrier wall into the opposite lane, hit several traffic cones and ran through a parking lot, crashing into the dining area of Captain D's Restaurant.

Police said no one was hurt in the crash.

Officers said they could smell marijuana coming from Mills, and that he admitted to smoking marijuana prior to the crash. They arrested him and charged him with DUI and criminal mischief. He was booked into the McCracken County Jail.
