Man Accused of Raping Teen Appears in Court

A Metropolis, IL man charged with raping a teen in McCracken County appeared in court Thursday.

Court records show 47-year-old Nathan Anderson entered not guilty pleas in McCracken County Circuit Court to charges of third degree rape, sodomy, sexual abuse and unlawful transaction with a minor.

Anderson's charges stem from accusations that he had sexual contact with a teenage girl over a 14-month period. He was arrested on Nov. 4.

A pretrial hearing in the case has been set for for Jan. 27.
