A Paducah business is helping Federal workers that are not being paid, due to the Government shutdown.

Vertical Jump Park, located in Kentucky Oaks Mall in Paducah, is asking that people bring non-perishable food items, as well as personal care items such as shampoo, soap, toothpaste, etc. to their location.

Vertical Jump Park Manager, Kris Waller, told West Kentucky Star, that for those that bring the items to the business, they will receive a discount on their sessions, $1.00 for each item up to $4.00.

Waller also asked that if anyone knows persons affected by the shutdown, please let them know by either calling them at (270)-366-0331, or by e-mail at reservations@verticaljumppark.com. They can also be contacted via their Facebook page, which is Vertical Jump Park Paducah.
