Kevil Man Arrested on Drug Charges

A man was arrested Saturday after being found passed out in a car.

McCracken County Sheriff Deputies responded to the 4600 block of Reidland Road. Upon arrival, they allegedly found 35-year-old Johnathon McGuire of Kevil sitting at the traffic light motionless. As the deputies approached the vehicle, they observed McGuire passed out with his vehicle in gear. Methamphetamine was allegedly found laying on his lap.

McGuire was charged with possession of a controlled substance 1st degree 1st offense methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, no registration plates, no registration receipt, and failure to produce insurance card.

He was taken to the McCracken Regional Jail.
