Kevil Man Arrested For Allegedly Attacking Woman

A Kevil man was arrested Tuesday evening, after deputies say he attacked a woman with a knife.

According to the McCracken County Sheriff's Department, deputies responded shortly after 9:00 pm to a report of an assault at a home in the 11000 block of Old Hinkleville Road.

Deputies say 46-year-old John M. Logan of Kevil had apparently been in a physical altercation with a woman. During the altercation, Logan allegedly brandished a knife, and cut the victim prior to leaving the home. The woman was taken to a local hospital for treatment of her injuries.

With the assistance of the Ballard County Sheriff’s office and the Kentucky State Police, Logan was later found at an address on Hamburg Road in Kevil, and placed under arrest for 2nd degree assault. He was booked in to in the McCracken County Jail.
