A Kevil man has been arrested on multiple charges after leading deputies on a foot pursuit in McCracken County.
 
Wednesday morning at approximately 5:36, deputies were called to the 4100 block of Schneidman Road for a report of a theft that at a home.

Witnesses told deputies that a gray car may have been involved in the theft. The vehicle was later located in the 2100 block of Reed Road and a traffic stop was conducted. The passenger, 37-year-old Dustin Giller of Kevil, fled on foot. He was apprehended in a wooded area, a short distance from the car.

Giller was allegedly found to have methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. When deputies searched the vehicle, they said multiple stolen items were found that had been taken from a nearby home. Giller was also wanted on a parole violation warrant from McCracken County and an arrest warrant from Illinois.

He was arrested and charged with fleeing or evading police, resisting arrest, receiving stolen property under $500, possession of a controlled substance 1st degree-1st offense, methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and the outstanding warrants.

The driver of the car, 28-year-old Tiffany Henderson of St. Louis, was not charged and was released.
