KY Chamber President to Speak at Thursday Meeting

PADUCAH - The new President and CEO of the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce, Ashli Watts, will be the featured speaker for the Power in Partnership breakfast of the Paducah Area Chamber of Commerce on December 5.  

The breakfast will be held at 7:30 am in the Ohio Room of the Julian Carroll Convention Center. Tickets are $15 each for chamber members, or $20 for non-members. Call 270-443-1746 or email to make reservations or for more information. 

Watts was named President and CEO for the Kentucky Chamber in November 2019. She joined the organization in November of 2012 and during her tenure as Senior Vice President of Public Affairs led efforts in passing significant pieces of legislation. As part of the Chamber’s leadership team, the Kentucky Chamber was named National State Chamber of the Year in 2017. Prior to joining the Chamber, she worked at the Kentucky Bar Association and the Legislative Research Commission.   

Watts graduated from Campbellsville University with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and History in 2004 and holds a Master’s Degree in Public Policy and Administration from the University of Louisville.
