Joshi Pleads Not Guilty at Court Hearing

A McCracken County High School student facing charges related to alleged inappropriate sexual images of another student was in court Tuesday.

Court records show 18-year-old Princekumar Joshi pleaded not guilty in McCracken County District Court to a charge of using an electronic device to record or possess illegal sexual images of a minor.

Joshi was charged after deputies say he recorded illegal videos of an underage student. In that case detectives said school officials were made aware of the allegations against Joshi, but chose not to report them to authorities right away.

Joshi is due to be back in court for a preliminary hearing on March 21 (originally set for March 19).
