Identity of Person Passing Counterfeit Bill Sought

Paducah Police are seeking the public's help to identify a woman that allegedly used a counterfeit 20 dollar bill Wednesday at Pockets on Cairo Road.

Employees told officers that the woman made a purchase using the counterfeit bill, but they did not notice it being counterfeit until after she had left.

Anyone with information about the subject’s identity is asked to call the Paducah Police Department at 270/444-8550 or Crime Stoppers at 443-TELL. Tipsters also may access the online tip form through the City of Paducah website at http://paducahky.gov/west-ky-crime-stoppers. Information leading to an arrest or indictment may result in a reward of up to $1,000.
