According to the McCracken County Sheriff's Department, 19-year-old Alyana Williams told them she was on exit 16 when her vehicle dropped off the left shoulder and she overcorrected. Her vehicle overturned and ended up on its roof. Williams said she was able to free herself and her six-month-old son from the vehicle.
Williams and the child were transported to a local hospital for treatment of their injuries.
