I-24 Crash Claims Life of Metropolis Man

A crash Sunday morning on I-24 in McCracken County claimed the life of a Metropolis man.

According to Paducah Police, 40-year-old Gary Little was eastbound near mile marker 6 when his car ran off the road and struck a parked car, then hit an interstate sign and ran down an embankment. Little was ejected from the vehicle.

Two witnesses told police that Little's vehicle had passed them at a high rate of speed prior to the crash.

Little was taken to Mercy Health Lourdes Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
