According to their website, Hananoki says they set "the standard for innovative Japanese cuisine and gourmet Teppanyaki in Western Kentucky, Hananoki is a landmark Asian restaurant located in the unsuspecting backdrop of Paducah."
As of Wednesday, it would appear the restaurant will no longer be open for business.
In the Facebook post, the restaurant said in part, "Hananoki has enjoyed serving the Paducah area with enjoyable food with awesome memories and impressions we have made. It has been a great journey but it has come to an end due to the owner's relocation to a different area."
It was the first post on their Facebook page since April 22, when they were encouraging quilters to eat at their location.
Attempts to reach a representative of the restaurant for further information by West Kentucky Star have not been successful.
