A local event is back for another year to benefit an organization that helps feed people.

The 2nd annual Halloween Pub Crawl on Oct. 26 starts and ends at the Finkle's building at 200 Kentucky Avenue. Registration begins at 7 p.m. and everyone will get a wristband that allows them to visit 12 downtown venues, which will have food and drink specials through the night.

At midnight, everyone comes back to the Finkle's building for a showing of "The Rocky Horror Picture Show." Participants are encouraged to dress in costumes or as their favorite character from the film.

Food and drinks will also be available at the Finkle's building, where other activities will take place, such as a costume contest, fortune tellers, haunted trivia, scary Karaoke, a photo booth, and door prizes. The event will end at 2 a.m.

Participating venues include: Bully Gorilla, Doe’s, The Freight House, Fox Briar, The Johnson Bar, JP’s Bar & Grill, Max’s Brick Oven Café, Moonshine Company, Silent Brigade Distillery, The Silver Bullet, and Tribeca.

Tickets are $25 for General Admission pub crawl only, $30 for the pub crawl and the film or $35 for VIP tickets. They are on sale https://HalloweenPubCrawl.ticketspice.com/halloween-pub-crawl. On the night of the event, exchange your ticket for a wristband at the registration table at the Old Finkle’s Building. All guests are reminded to Drink Responsibly. The event will take place rain or shine, and everyone must be 21 or older to participate.

All proceeds will benefit Project Pomona, which works to fight food insecurity in a sustainable way, focusing its core values on people, economics, and the environment. The project aims to provide healthy food for vulnerable families in an environmentally safe and cost-effective way, while beautifying neighborhoods without the negative impacts of gentrification.
