Friday's Garbage Routes Affected by Snowy Roads
By West Kentucky Star Staff
PADUCAH, KY - City workers will attempt to complete solid waste pickup routes on Saturday in Paducah.

Friday's sleet and snow resulted in several trucks getting stuck. Workers were unable to finish routes where residents place garbage in alleys.

Any resident whose garbage can is placed in an alley and was not picked up on Friday is asked to leave their can in place. Crews will attempt to finish the route Saturday, but if they are not able, routes will be finished on Tuesday.

Anyone who has a question should contact the Engineering-Public Works Department at 270-444-8511.

As a reminder, City Hall will be closed January 15 for Martin Luther King, Jr., Day.
