Free Skin Cancer Screenings Offered June 24

The Kentucky Cancer Program, Baptist Health Paducah and Lourdes hospital are working together to provide free skin cancer screenings next month.

Appointments are now being accepted for the annual free skin cancer screening. It will take place from 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday, June 24, at the Lourdes Outpatient Surgery Center in the Marshall Nemer Pavilion.

Area dermatologists will be volunteering to examine and evaluate skin changes. 

According to the Skin Cancer Foundation, one in five Americans will develop skin cancer in their lifetime.
