Two Paducah men were arrested on drug charges and outstanding warrants, late Thursday night.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Department says that at approximately 11:15 pm, they received information that a wanted man was at a home on Kentucky Street, in the Farley area.

Deputies believed he was hiding in a small shed, near the home. After speaking with the homeowner, they were allowed to search the shed.

During the search, 33-year-old Matthew Hirt, and 35-year-old Jason Dyer, were located.

Items of drugs and drug paraphernalia were also allegedly found in the shed.

Hirt and Dyer were arrested and taken to the McCracken County Regional Jail, both charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and also outstanding warrants.
