A McCracken County man was arrested Sunday after deputies say a search of his home revealed drugs, cash and a weapon.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Department says detectives got a tip about possible drug activity at the home of 37-year-old Jason Jacob on Houser Road. A search warrant was executed Sunday at the home, and during the search detectives seized about 26 grams of crystal meth, more than 5 1/2 pounds of marijuana, $5,316 in cash, electronics, a .45 caliber pistol, scales, packaging materials and assorted drug paraphernalia.

Jacobs was booked into the McCracken County Jail on charges of firearm enhanced trafficking in methamphetamine, firearm enhanced trafficking in marijuana over five pounds and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The Sheriff's Department says the drugs seized have a street value of more than $10,000.
