Dancing With Our Stars Moving to August

This year’s Dancing with our Stars event, sponsored by the American Cancer Society, will take center stage a few months later than usual.

This year's event will be on August 4, a change from the previously scheduled March date. Event organizer and ACS Community Development Manager Misti Drew said that several factors led the team to make the date change, including a desire to make some new and exciting updates to the long-standing fundraising event. 

“After much discussion, we felt that we will be able to best maintain the integrity of this benefit by moving it to a future date where we can dedicate the needed time and resources to ensure its success,” she said. “We have a lot of great things happening within ACS that will help us assist more cancer patients with access to care in our communities, and we hope to be able to launch some of those new initiatives around the Dancing with our Stars event.’

The event will once again be held at the Julian Carroll Convention Center. Group and individual tickets are available for purchase by going to the Dancing with our Stars Paducah website as well as through the 2018 list of Stars, which includes:
