Cunningham Man Hurt in Blandville Road Crash

A Cunningham man was hurt Wednesday morning in a crash on Blandville Road.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Office says deputies responded at around 6:20 a.m. to a crash at the intersection of Mayfield Metropolis Road.

The investigation reportedly showed 57-year-old Steven Giles of Marion was traveling west on Blandville Road when his vehicle began to hydroplane and moved across into the eastbound lane, hitting another vehicle driven by 48-year-old David Lee of Cunningham.

Lee was taken to a local hospital for treatment. Blandville Road was closed in both directions for about an hour after the crash.
