One driver was injured Saturday in a two-vehicle collision on Lone Oak Road.

McCracken County Sheriff's Deputies responded to the intersection of Cave Thomas Drive and Lone Oak Road at 3:34 pm. Their investigation at the scene determined that 75-year-old Judith Collier of Paducah was attempting to cross Lone Oak Road from Brett Chase to Cave Thomas Drive, but she didn't see a car driven by 30-year-old Lauren Bomar of McKenzie, Tennessee, that was in the right southbound lane of Lone Oak Road.

Collier's SUV hit Bomar's car and they stopped on Cave Thomas Drive. Mercy EMS took Bomar to a nearby hospital for treatment of injuries she received. Collier and two children in Bomar's car were not injured in the crash.

Randy's Body Shop, Harper's Towing and Lone Oak Fire Department helped at the scene.
