Couple Arrested for Soliciting Minor Online

A Paducah couple were arrested Thursday after an investigation into a social media message to a juvenile girl.

According to the McCracken County Sheriff's Department, the girl and a parent reported that she had received a message from 26-year-old Holly Ayers, asking the girl to have sex with Ayers and her 28-year-old husband, Lucas. 

Detectives met with the mother and daughter on Friday, and began investigating. They used a social media account, leading the couple to believe it belonged to a minor girl, and both Lucas and Holly asked for naked photographs. Holly sent photos of herself and Lucas to detectives who were using the account. 

Detectives went to the Ayers home on Glenn Street, where they interviewed the couple and looked at their electronic media. Both were arrested for use of electronic communication to procure a minor for sex. 

Lucas Ayers was also arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in court. He is currently on bond and awaiting sentencing for sexual abuse 1st degree in another county. West Kentucky Star has determined the previous offense happened in Graves County in January.
