Convention Center Board Names New Sales Director

The Paducah McCracken County Convention Center Corporation Board has named a new Sales Director.

The board appointed Michelle Campbell to the position at its Thursday meeting. Earlier this month, the board appointed Chuck Tate as the new director of operations. Tate and Campbell will oversee operations and sales for the Julian Carroll Convention Center, Bill & Meredith Schroeder Expo Center, and the inflatable dome pavilion. Tate began his role May 16 with Campbell scheduled to begin her duties June 1.
 
Campbell most recently worked as the project coordinator for the Focus on the Future Campaign, an initiative of the Carson Center. She also has experience in fundraising and as a real estate developer and insurance agent. The full-time sales director position involves the development of marketing plans and the execution of sales activities related to the convention center facilities.
