The Community Foundation of West Kentucky will be accepting grant applications from area non-profits who serve their communities of Western Kentucky, in the areas of Community Art, Educational Attainment, Health Awareness, Children’s Program, Social Services and Community Improvement.
 
The Community Foundation of West Kentucky will accept applications until 4 pm on February 14. Each application will be reviewed for eligibility. The organization must be defined as a tax tax-exempt charitable organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. It will be at the sole discretion of the Community Foundation of West Kentucky Grants Committee with the approval of the Board of Directors as to which applications are accepted and awarded a grant. All grant amounts will be for at least $1,000. Application does not guarantee the awarding of a grant. This is a competitive grant process.
 
Attendance at the Philanthropy 360 Event on March 5th is required.  It is at this event the grant awards will be announced and distributed. Alternates are chosen for those organizations not represented.
 
The March 5th Event will be held at the Market House Theatre, 132 Market House Square, Multi-Purpose Building from noon. to 1:30 pm. (Lunch will be served with a RSVP). Any additional questions may be directed to: Tony Watkins at 270-442-8622.
