The City of Paducah's final topic for public comments on the City Hall project is siting, or location.

Public Information Officer Pam Spencer said this may be the main issue in the first stages of the project. “We want the community to think about what location would be the best for a city hall. Also, think about the impact, positive and negative, a facility with dozens of employees would have for an area," Spencer said.

Spencer said there have been dozens of emails and Facebook comments, and she has been very pleased by the the constructive comments and the depth of thought placed into each response.

Over the next week, please email thoughts about siting impacts to cityhallproject@paducahky.gov or post comments on the Paducah City Hall Project Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/PaducahCityHallProject).

Over the past several weeks, the city has been requesting input on important topics related to the project: image, customer experience, functional buildings and work spaces, sustainability, and siting impacts. This input will be used to develop guiding principles for the City Hall Working Group, once it is organized. One of the first decisions to be made is whether to renovate the existing City Hall building or design a new facility.
