The Paducah Area Chamber of Commerce will hear from Colonel Stanley Sliwinski, Commander of the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) Sustainment Brigade from Fort Campbell at their next monthly breakfast on August 31st.

The breakfast begins at 7:30 am at the Julian Carroll Convention Center's Ohio room.

Colonel Sliwinski will speak about the opportunities available for partnerships between the local community and Fort Campbell as well as the community’s efforts to work with assisting the transitioning soldiers from Fort Campbell into the local workforce.  

Colonel Stanley J. Sliwinski was commissioned in December 1991 in the Transportation Corps after graduating from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing. He later earned a Master of Arts Degree in National Security and Strategic Studies from the Naval War College in Newport, Rhode Island and a Masters of Strategic Studies from the U.S. Army War College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. Colonel Sliwinski has served in a multitude of assignments and positions ranging from Platoon Leader to Military Advisor to the Assistant Secretary of State, Bureau of International Organization Affairs, U.S. Department of State, to the Acquisition and Logistics Team Chief in the Office of Business Transformation, Office of the Under Secretary of the Army, Washington, DC., all the way to brigade commander, where he is currently serving in the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault). He has deployed in support of Operation Support Hope, Operation Iraqi Freedom, and Operation Enduring Freedom.

Leadership Paducah Class #31 will also be introduced at the breakfast.  

The breakfast was moved from Sept. 7 due to scheduling conflicts. The Chamber’s DC Fly In will be held on September 6 and 7 in Washington.   

Cost: $15 for Chamber members; $25 for non-Chamber members
