City Taking Entries for Cards in the Park Display
By West Kentucky Star Staff
PADUCAH, KY - Local residents are being invited to place replicas of large greeting cards in Noble Park for the annual Christmas Cards in the Park display.

Public Information Officer Pam Spencer says the brightly decorated cards should be no larger than 4 feet wide by 8 feet high, and should be designed to be displayed in the portrait position. The Paducah Parks and Recreation Department will provide the posts to set up the cards, and will install them. ½-inch plywood is recommended for the cards.

The Parks and Recreation Department will accept the cards from Oct. 16 through Nov. 16. Space is limited to 25 cards.

If you have a card you would like to display, contact Parks Maintenance Superintendent Les Evans at 270-444-8508 ext. 8.
