Church Student Ministry Helping Hurricane Victims

PADUCAH - The Heartland Student Ministry of Heartland Church in Paducah is collecting supplies for those in the path of Hurricane Florence.

The students will be making compassion bags, made up of three types. Toiletries, which includes shampoo, conditioner, soap or body wash, toothbrush and toothpaste, and hand sanitizer. Kid fun bags, which includes stickers, small coloring or activity books, individually wrapped candy, (NO CHOCOLATE), snacks, and small toys. Snack bags, which includes not easily perishable individual size crackers, cookies, nuts, protein bars, and trail mix. Again, no chocolate, please.

They will also be collecting items for hygene such as bottled water, NEW underwear in packages, feminine products, adult briefs such as Depends, diapers, paper towels, and toilet paper.

Items can be dropped off at the church, which is located at 4777 Alben Barkley Drive in Paducah.
