Chamber members are able to post their open jobs at no cost, gaining exposure to individuals looking for jobs in the area. Non-Chamber members may also utilize the jobs board for a small fee. Each listing includes information about the job and details about how to apply for a position.
Job seekers are able to access information about available jobs free of charge.
The jobs board also includes an option to list available internship openings. The site paducahinterns.com will also direct potential employees to the new jobs board.
“This is an important step to help ensure that connections are being made between employers and the workforce through this new Chamber Jobs Board,” said Chamber President Sandra Wilson. “It’s a simple way to allow our members to stretch their recruiting talent and for our local workforce to make connections. We hope people looking to relocate to Paducah will also use the site to find openings here. Finding skilled workers is imperative to the success of the area’s economy.”
