Thursday's featured speaker is Ben Chandler, President and CEO of the Foundation for a Healthy Kentucky. The doors open at 6:45 a.m. for viewing of the school displays and the breakfast program begins at 7:30 a.m. The event is held at the Julian Carroll Convention Center.
The Foundation for a Healthy Kentucky is a nonprofit, nonpartisan foundation that works to make Kentuckians healthier. In February 2004, Chandler was elected to the United States House of Representatives, and represented Kentucky in Congress until January 2013. He then served as executive director of the Kentucky Humanities Council before joining the Foundation for a Healthy Kentucky in September 2016.
