A collision between a car and motorcycle Sunday night in McCracken County left one person injured.

According to the McCracken County Sheriff's Office, the crash happened around 5:30 pm at the intersection of Old Mayfield Road and Krebs Station Road. Deputies said a car driven by 31-year-old Krystale Harris of Smithland pulled into the path of a motorcycle operated by 27-year-old Jacob Willis of Paducah.

Police said Willis did not have sufficient time to react and struck Harris’ vehicle in the passenger side. The impact caused Willis to be ejected from his motorcycle, causing him to roll over the hood of Harris’ car.

Deputies said Willis was wearing a helmet at the time of the collision, but still sustained injuries. He was transported to Lourdes Hospital for treatment.

Harris and her passengers were not injured.
