Paducah Police said 42-year-old Cleyon R. Tanner was arrested for the second time in less than two weeks.
Tanner was previously arrested on August 8 after he was found to be in possession of a stolen handgun during a traffic stop.
At the time of that arrest, Tanner was out of jail on bond from two previous arrests. Although he had been released from custody again, a bond revocation warrant for his arrest was issued.
Detectives allegedly spotted him driving near McNabb Elementary, but Tanner eluded officers who attempted to pull him over. Police then obtained a warrant charging Tanner with fleeing or evading police, and he was arrested as he arrived for court Monday afternoon.
Tanner was lodged in the McCracken County Regional Jail.
