Buckner-Sycamore Four-Way Stop Begins Today

The intersection of Buckner Lane and Sycamore Drive became a four-way stop at 6:00 am Monday.

The change was made to enhance safety for pedestrian and drivers. 

The Traffic Commission voted on June 21st to make the change after discussing several options.

The intersection is near Immanuel Baptist Church and Clark Elementary School, which sees periods of increased traffic and street side parking. These conditions sometimes lead to difficulty navigating through the intersection.
