As Paducah Police search for a man reported missing this morning, his employer is now claiming that money is also missing.

Paducah Police issued a press release Monday asking for the public’s help in locating 49-year-old David G. Boggs, Jr. A friend told police Boggs left his Broadway home about 6:30 Sunday morning and hasn't been seen since.

A short time later, Barbecue on the River issued a press release saying they have discovered that Boggs took money from the festival's 2018 operating expenses. The organization says the alleged theft occurred recently, and they are "devastated" by it.
