Last year, community not-for-profit organizations who applied were reviewed and scored by an independent panel of three local business leaders who had no business relationship with the Barbecue board or event. Each interested organization also gave an oral presentation to the voting board members, and participated in a question-and-answer session.

The application deadline is Friday, April 17 by 4:00 pm at 321 Broadway in downtown Paducah.
